Cancellation Overview
CodeCraft understands that circumstances change. This policy outlines how you can cancel projects and orders, along with any applicable terms and conditions.
Project Cancellations
AI Code Generation:
- Cancel anytime before generation starts
- Full credit refund if not processed
- 50% refund if generation in progress
- No cancellation after code is generated
Expert Review Service:
- Cancel within 30 minutes: Full refund
- Cancel before expert assignment: Full refund
- After assignment: 50% cancellation fee
- No cancellation once review begins
Rush Delivery Projects:
- Cancel within 1 hour: Full refund
- No cancellation once processing starts
- Rush fees non-refundable after processing begins
How to Cancel
Online Cancellation:
- Log into your dashboard
- Navigate to Projects
- Select "Cancel Project" option
- Confirm cancellation
- Receive confirmation email
Email Cancellation:
- Send request to payments@codecraft.expert
- Include project ID
- State reason (optional)
- Confirmation within 24 hours
Support:
- Available Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM GMT
- Have account details ready
Cancellation Deadlines
Service-specific deadlines:
- AI Code Generation: Before generation starts
- Expert Review Service: Before an expert is assigned
- Rush Delivery Projects: Within 1 hour of creation
- Custom Features: Setup fees non-refundable
Cancellation Fees
Fees are set by the per-service rules in "Project Cancellations" above and nowhere else. In summary:
- AI Code Generation: no fee before generation starts; 50% once generation is in progress; no cancellation after the code is generated
- Expert Review: no fee within 30 minutes or at any point before an expert is assigned; 50% after assignment; no cancellation once the review has begun
- Rush Delivery: no fee within 1 hour; no cancellation once processing starts, and rush fees are non-refundable from that point
Account Closure
To close your CodeCraft account:
- Cancel all active projects first
- Download any needed code
- Spend any remaining credits — credits are non-transferable between accounts and are not refunded on closure once the 14-day purchase window has passed
- Request data export if needed
- Delete the account yourself from Dashboard → Settings, or email a closure request to support
Note: Self-service deletion takes effect immediately — your account and its data are removed at once and cannot be recovered. Closure requests sent by email are actioned within 30 days. Encrypted backups are rotated out within 30 days of deletion.
Reactivation
After cancelling a project (this does not apply to a deleted account, which cannot be restored):
- Projects: Contact support to reactivate
- Previous settings preserved
- Credits remain valid (they do not expire)
- Project history maintained
- Same login credentials
- New member benefits may not apply
Exceptions
Cancellations not permitted for:
- Completed and delivered code
- Downloaded projects
- Consumed credits
- Completed expert reviews
- Projects older than 30 days
- Special promotional offers (terms may vary)
Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a cancellation decision:
- Contact support within 7 days
- Provide project details and reason
- Management review within 48 hours
- Final decision communicated
- Escalation to senior management available
